Q: What is the FMRS?
A: We are the Friends of the Muscatatuck River Society. We organize two cleanups a year to take care of the Mustatuck and it's tributares

Q: What can I do to help?
A: First off you can reduce/reuse/recycle anything and everything you can. Secondly you can show up to the clean-ups to help our rivers.

Q: Do you have any kind of meetings?
A: We meet the first tuesday of every month usually at the Jennings County library, and one annual meeting.

Q: What should I bring to a clean-up?
A: We suggest you dress appropriatly for the season. April cleanup usually is warm, while the october cleanups usually start very cold. Long sleeve shirts, pants, water proof boots, extra set of clothes just incase. A rope can come in handy, but not nececarry.

Q: Where do we meet for a clean-up?
A: We meet at the Vernon Commons, just off of Highway 3/7 in Vernon. There is where we sign up and have orientation before being assigned clean-up spots.

Q: Can I use a clean-up for community service hours?
A: Yes.

Q: Can anyone make a donation to the FMRS?
A: Yes, just donate to our paypal account, or contact one of us to arrange a donation.
